Skincare is Self-care.

We talk about self-care so much, but quite commonly we only focus on the spiritual aspect of it or the dietary aspect. The topological aspect is something that needs to be talked more about and that’s what I’m here to do today.

Moisturizing can be one of the worst things you find to do in your skincare routine. Especially if you’re one with oily skin, you might think that moisturizing just set you on a course for disaster. But this moisturizer is the perfect solution to all your moisturizing woes.

We’ve talked before about the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line, and we’re already a fan of their cleanser. Now let’s talk about another one of our favorites, the Moisturizer.

Skincare needs to feel good if you want to stay consistent with it. Having this product on your shelf will make you feel fresh just from the look of it, and that is just steps one of enjoying your skincare.

This product is in a water gel formula. The usual problem people with oily skin have with moisturizers is that they feel very heavy on the skin as if someone has put over a layer of oil on your already oily skin. That’s because most of the moisturizers come in a milky formula that coat your skin thickly. They do their job, but as we said, you need to enjoy your skincare if you’re going to remain consistent.

The water-gel formula gives a very lightweight texture to the moisturizer and it feels like you’re putting a cloud over your skin. A dollop of moisturizer is going to go a long way and cover your entire skin. You only need a pea-size amount of this product and you’re good to go.

Once you have it on, it sits on your skin like a featherweight blanket where you barely even get to notice that you’ve put on something. It’s SO lightweight.

If you haven’t started moisturizing yet, this should be the product that you should kick start your journey with.
