The cinemas are going crazy this time around. Pakistan is set to release films that include some of our favorite stars.

Viewers will get to choose from either watching Fahad Mustafa & Mahira Khans’ Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, Mehwish Hayat, and Humayun Saeed’s London Nahi Jaongi, horror-comedy Lafangay OR Marvel’s superhero film Thor: Love & Thunder.

Let’s walk through the movies, shall we?

Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad

Directed by the famous Nabeel Qureshi, this film is an action-comedy. The trailer reveals a police officer who makes his way through the force by illegal ways of earning. Midway through the story he comes to a spiritual awakening and realizes his patriotic duty towards the organization and the country. Mahira and Mustafa on one screen is a combo no one wants to miss.

London Nahi Jaunga

Romance, action & drama, all in one film. This movie shares a story of a love triangle between Saeed, Hayat, and Kubra Khan. The love story has a typical twist where one woman is of a desi upbringing and the other one is more modern and western. From the trailer, it seems that the main character is more inclined toward the western women, played by Mehwish Hayat.

Lafangay

Lafangay is a horror-comedy about four friends who set out to live in a haunted house and surprisingly compete with the supernatural beings there.

Thor: Love & Thunder

Chris Hemsworth is again set to steal everyone’s Thunder.

In the movie, the God of Thunder is on a quest for inner peace. He retires and wants some peace until he is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr, The God Butcher. This character is played by Christian Bale and we have no doubt he would’ve done a remarkable job.

Tough Competition

It seems that Hollywood & Lollywood will be clashing once again as the movies will go head to head in trying to capture audiences. Thor is being released on 8th July while the rest of the films are released on the 10th. Let’s see who gets more attention.
